  • What questions are asked in our get-to-know-you meeting?
    At Artisan Hollow, each item that our artisans produce will be held to a high standard of quality before it goes into our store. We strongly desire only quality pieces to be offered to our shoppers. Our commitment is to honor our artisans as well as our potential shoppers. Your interview is a way to connect with you and create a relationship with you. We also want to ensure that we are a fit for each other. With this in mind, you will be asked the following questions: Tell a bit about you and why you are so passionate about what you do Tell us about your product and what led you to create this product Do your product/s fit our criteria? Do you have any questions for us? We will also collect any data that needs to be collected for the setup of your store and give you a brief overview of all we offer. You may be asked to email pictures and/or video of yourself and your product/s.
  • How do I add new content to my store?
    If you are already one of our Artisans and are trying to add a new product to our store, then please send us an email with the following information: Image/s of the product. A video is also a great addition and can be added as well as an image The price you would like to sell your product for Basic description and any details about your product that you think we should know After your product is reviewed, you will be contacted by one of our team to let you know if your product meets our criteria. If it did, you would be made aware of this, and your product will be placed in your store.
  • How will I know if I have been chosen as an Artisan?
    Once you have submitted your basic information into the form on our "Become Artisan" page, you will be contacted by our interview specialist. After conducting the interview with you, you will be emailed letting you know if you have been chosen to be one of our Artisans. If you have not been chosen, you will be told the reasons why and what you may need to do in order to be hosted on our site. Please note: usually, a potential Artisan is refused because there needs to be a small tweak to your product. We will support you the best way we can to get you on our site and selling. Sometimes, however, the potential Artisan doesn't match our business criteria. Either way, we will inform you of why you were not accepted.
  • When will I be paid?
    If you are a new Artisan, you want to go to "Become Artisan" on our website. Fill out the form, and we will contact you to set up an initial interview to see if we are a match for each other. Once your product has sold, your money will be held for the 30 grace period in case the customer returns the product. This ensures that the money transactions flow easily with no hiccups. Once the 30-day grace period has ended, you will be paid the following payday. If you choose to be paid by check rather than direct deposit, then your check will be mailed to you on the next payday. All paydays are twice a month on the first and third Mondays.
  • Do we share you private information?
    We will only ever share what you give us permission to share in your store and for advertising. We do not share or sell ANY of your information with anyone for any reason unless you give us written permission to do so.
