Artisan Johannah Nielsen

About:
Johannah is a concert pianist who teaches piano part-time at a grade school and part-time out of her home. She never anticipated expressing her creativity in the forms it's been showing up lately.

After suffering a significant fall, breaking quite a few bones and affecting many of internal organs, almost dying, years of physical therapy and learning how to heal her body, Johannah began looking for healthy, natural ways to assist her body to be whole. At some point during this journey, she was looking for healthy shampoo alternatives, a friend who works on a farm gave her a bucket of tallow and suggested she try making her own natural soap. Being the highly creative and talented human she is, she did just that.

After a big learning curve and much commitment, Johannah discovered that she was passionate about making soap and was very good at it. She loves artistically expressing herself through an avenue that helps her body and blesses many others with healthy alternatives to their everyday needs.

Johannah makes many fabulously smelling, fun, beautiful, unique, healthy soaps. She also makes an incredible shampoo bar and is currently learning about the world of deodorants in hopes of creating natural products in this field.
